2014 KBB Best Resale Value Awards - Toyota Voted Best Brand!

Toyota does well in every Category!

The Kelly Blue Book awards are based on extensive research and analysis every year to determine the most accurate projections of resale value as possible, which is why they are used by so many of the nation's leading financial institutions. The awards recognize automakers' outstanding achievements in producing vehicles that best retain their value over the first five years (60 months) of new-vehicle ownership. The annual Best Resale Value Awards are broken into three groups:

Best Brand: Toyota

For the third year in a row, Japan's biggest automaker has earned podium-topping stature as the brand to buy if you want to see more of your money come back when you sell your vehicle. There's no trick to Toyota's success in the resale value arena -- it's an old-fashioned formula: Make a quality product that improves people's lives, sell it at an affordable price, and make triple-certain that the comfort, reliability and enjoyment last for years. From across a crowded field of competitors that's never been stronger, the 2014 Best Resale Value Award for Best Brand goes to Toyota.

Overall Top Ten Vehicle Winners

Led by the remarkably resilient Toyota FJ Cruiser, every vehicle on this year's Top 10 list of Best Resale Value Award winners is projected to retain at least half its original value after five years of typical ownership.

#1: 2014 Toyota FJ Cruiser  - The Toyota FJ Cruiser is an off-road master and a resale value rarity, claiming the top spot on this list - by a wide margin - for the second year in a row.

#2: 2014 Toyota Tacoma - A legendary workhorse that's equally eager on the weekends, the Toyota Tacoma is perhaps unbeatable when it comes to long-term utility per dollar.

#4: 2014 Toyota 4Runner - The Toyota 4Runner sports revised styling and a host of new features for 2014, along with the same familiar excellent resale values.

#6: 2014 Toyota Tundra - New but not all-new for 2014, the Toyota Tundra may trail the domestics in sales, but it outpaces them in resale value.
