The 2019 Toyota Land Cruiser is the peak of capability and comfort. A stylish front end, LED headlights and fog lights and chrome side moldings help give this SUV an unmistakable presence. Not to mention the energy-efficient LED taillights last long and shine bright. The Land Cruiser’s dashboard is ready to help you take command with a large, 9-inch high-res touchscreen display and intuitive controls. The four-zone climate control and rear-seat DVD entertainment system make sure all passengers are comfortable while on the go. With the third- and second-row seats folded, you’ll be greeted by a cavernous 81.7 cubic feet of cargo capacity, while the second row features a 40/20/40 split and a 50/50 split for the third. The center console features a cooler box that can easily accommodate beverages and snacks and the power moonroof gives every adventure a great view. With power comes confidence, and with a 32-valve V8 that develops 381 horsepower and 401 lb.-ft. of torque. Not to mention the 8-speed automatic transmission, rigid frame and skid plates to protect crucial areas on rougher terrain. Ready to go off the beaten path? The Land Cruiser is ready with its multi-terrain monitor, kinetic dynamic suspension system, limited slip differential, multi-terrain select and crawl control with off-road turn assist. The Land Cruiser offers a range of convenient features for staying connected on the road, including a premium sound system, Entune app access, SiriusXM Radio support and iPod connectivity and 4.2-inch multi-information display. You’ll also find a comprehensive suite of safety features such as blind spot monitor with rear cross-traffic alert.

  • 600K miles in LCs, no regrets

Yes it's expensive. But with a little care, these things last forever. Recently bought my 3rd LC...the 2016...which still continues to impress. Our 1999 went to my son after 10 yrs and 300K miles. He just sold it for 6K with 405K miles. (AC went out this summer...only real problem other than wear and tear). We then sold him our 2009 with 220K miles...runs like new. He swears he will get this one to 500K miles. Our new 2016 promises the same performance and reliability. Great car for kids and travel, with the boat! Secure, stable snowy winter travel. Great ride for cross country travel. If you can tolerate the same car for 10+ years, it's a great value. But if not, resale value is great. The downside? Will suck gas in the city. 20mi/gal range w highway driving.
  • My 2008 model runs still like new - luckily!

I own the V8 diesel version since 2009. I had only two minor issues(together €850 to fix)not bad after 200,000 miles! The 2016 model with diesel is not available in the EU - but since my Land Cruiser runs like new I can happily wait for times to change. The Land Cruiser is an excellent, safe, dependable and very comfortable vehicle that pleases my family of 5 on the autobahn, off-road - anywhere. Best worry free car ever. Greetings from Germany

About 6 months ago I got fed up and traded in my 08 Cadillac Escalade for the Land Cruiser as I was tired of the "little" problems that I kept having with the Cadillac. WOW the Land Cruiser doesn't disappoint, the interior fit and finish is light years better then the Escalades, I have yet to have any problem with the LC, whereas the Escalade was back to the dealer in the first 6 months several times from tire pressure sensors going out to broken door handles. The LC is EXPENSIVE, but after driving one, I wouldn't own anything other the a LC again.
